The second clean up at Llan Farm took place on a glorious Sunday on 9th April.

The weather was almost to perfect and made starting all the more difficult.

The usual crowd turned up with a new addition in that new member Ron Aheren made his introductions and got straight to work.

A big man with plenty of fun he fitted in right away.

We concentrated at the top end of the beat this week and have opened a great deal of fishable water.

Tom and his trusty chain saw made short work of some of the willows and small branches that needed to be removed while everyone else pulled pushed and tugged at the rubbish and drag it out of harms way.

The team worked right through to about 2.30pm.

Huw Bassett asked for a picture of him working to be put on the site to prove to his wife that he really was working and not just fishing.

So here you are Huw caught retrieving your fly (again) from the bushes.

I just hope the members who didn't or couldn't attend apprieciate the hard work that the few do to benefit the many.
