Bakers

Postby DaveyH » Fri Aug 17, 2012 1:39 pm

I’ve got a trip to the Nith in a few weeks and I’d like to get some right hand up single spey practice in. Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere suitable on the Bakers beat to practice? When I had a quick scout a few weeks ago it looked like the top half was a bit overgrown for spey casting – but I didn’t investigate the lower end.

Thanks!
Dave

Hi Davey
you have two options. The first id walk down to the lower end of the beat and there is good space for right hand upper casting or book the Groe park ticket from me and go on the Church pool on the Wye at Builth beautiful fly only water and right hand upper heaven

cheers
