![]() MaterialsHook: R200 or similar shaped hook in a size to match the hatch (The one shown is a 16) Silk: To match hatch. This is for a dark olive so 8/0dark olive silk was used. Extended shuck: In this pattern I have used dark olive hen hackle but you may use any soft fibred hackle such as partridge or grouse as well as soft hen hackles. Body: Dubbing to match hatch This is dark olive flyrite dubbing. Wing: matched mallard quill wing slips tied in sidewinder style. Thorax: As body dubbing.
